Transfer data files to another computer

You can copy the files to a series of floppies using a zip program such as "WinZip". It can be downloaded from the WinZip web-site.

Only 1 file needs to be copied: "c:\program files\m2001\data09.mdb"

Follow these steps:

zip the file "c:\program files\m2001\data09.mdb" onto floppies using your "zip" program or burn it onto a CDR disk.

load Medchart on your new computer

unzip the file data09.mdb and replace the file "c:\program files\m2001\datao9.mdb" on your new computer

It is also possible to link the two computers by using a cable. Transferring the file ""c:\program files\m2001\data09.mdb"from the old to new computer should accomplish the same task. This could be done by most computer shops. You would need to first load Medchart on the new computer.
