Renumber ChartNumbers Wizard

Due to conversion issues from Medchart 8- Medchart 9 chartnumbers were changed to random. This resulted in very large or even negative chartnumbers. This wizard will convert your chart numbers back to a sequential series. Any existing chartnumbers between 1 and the total number of patients you have in the database will be unchanged, all others will be renumbered.

• Your current file will be unchanged and saved as a backup with a different name.
• If you are using database replication do not use this wizard as sequential chartnumbers are not permitted when you use replication.
• This utility is only for Medchart 9
• To use the wizard please follow these steps:
• download the chartnumber wizard (updated January 13, 2003)
• unzip it to a blank folder on your hard drive
• run the program "setup.exe" in the unzipped files
• follow the directions from the setup program
• click "Start--Programs--Renumber Medchart Chartnumbers
